Booking conditions and general rules

These terms and conditions apply to ticket purchases and travel with Ohsabanan. By purchasing a ticket, you accept the terms and conditions below.

 

1. Ticket purchase and rebooking

  • Tickets for Summer Traffic and Ohsabanan Days are sold on site at the station, subject to availability. Tickets for other events can only be booked via our website.

  • Ohsabanan does not apply any right of withdrawal and does not refund purchased tickets.

  • Rebooking to another departure can be done subject to space availability.

 

2. Strollers and dogs

  • At special events such as the Glass Train, the Music Train and the Santa Train, it is not permitted to bring strollers or dogs.

  • During summer traffic and Ohsabanan days, strollers and dogs are allowed, subject to space.

  • Travelers with dogs are responsible for ensuring that the dog is always on a leash during their visit to the Ohsabanan Line.

 

3. Alcohol policy

  • Ohsabanan has a zero tolerance policy towards alcohol. It is prohibited to bring or consume alcohol on board or within the Ohsabanan area during public events.

  • It is also not permitted to consume or possess non-alcoholic alternatives to alcoholic beverages (e.g. non-alcoholic beer, cider) or carry packaging that could be confused with this.

  • The only exception is during the Music Train, where Ohsabanan can serve non-alcoholic beer.

  • Ohsabanan has the right to reject travelers who do not respect these rules.

 

4. Security

  • It is absolutely forbidden to enter the track area.

  • Travelers must follow the staff's instructions throughout their stay on the Ohsabanan Line.

 

5. Responsibility

  • Ohsabanan is not responsible for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond Ohsabanan's control.

  • In the event of fire risk, mechanical damage or illness, steam locomotives can be replaced with diesel locomotives.

  • Travelers are responsible for their own belongings.

 

6. Personal data

  • When booking, personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR).

  • The information is only used to administer the booking and carry out the trip.
