A trip on the Ohsabananen is a unique nature experience that can only be had from the train. The period trains are pulled by steam locomotives (in the event of mechanical damage or fire risk, the steam locomotives are replaced with period diesel locomotives) from the early 20th century. The sound of the locomotives struggling up the hills on Sweden's most hilly railway cannot be described in words, it must be experienced. Regardless of age or whether you like trains, the Ohsabananen is a fantastic excursion for the whole family.

 

In Ohs Bruk, our Railway Café is open on all operating days and during the trips to Bor Norra, the train has our café car with it.
